Lebanon Bicycle Recycle, a program of the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition, is hosting a free Cinco de Mayo Slow Ride on May 5 at 6:00 pm. The four-mile ride through the streets of Lebanon is a celebration of the holiday, with participants encouraged to decorate their bikes with flowers and enjoy tacos and refreshments at the end. The event is open to the public, and helmets are required for all riders. In addition to the Slow Ride, Lebanon Bicycle Recycle has several community cycling events planned, including Healthy Kids Day and the Ride of Silence. The organization is also accepting bike donations and seeking bilingual volunteers to assist with their programs.
