Harrisburg, PA – Acting Secretary of State Leigh M. Chapman today reminded Pennsylvanians of the Pennsylvania Department of State’s election night returns website, which will offer up-to-the-minute results from counties after the polls close at 8 p.m. on May 17.

A Lancaster man will serve 52 months to 9 years in prison after being sentenced by Lancaster County Judge Margaret Miller last week. Christopher Vazquez, 33 of Campbell Avenue, pleaded guilty in March to two counts of riot, two counts of reckless burning, two counts of disorderly conduct, four counts of institutional vandalism and one count of failure to disperse for his role in the riots following fatal police shooting in September 2020, which District Attorney Heather Adams ruled as justified.
HARRISBURG – Funding to assist Lycoming County with a community planning project was awarded recently, according to state Rep. Jeff Wheeland (R-Lycoming). The grant for the project was issued by the Municipal Assistance Program (MAP) and approved by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
