Hey! Say! JUMP’s “Gunjo Runaway” debuts at No. 1 on the latest Billboard Japan Hot 100, dated Aug. 23 to 29. The Johnny’s boy band’s 30th single is the theme song for a drama series starring member Kei Inoo, and sold 234,313 CDs in its first week to come in at No. 1 for physical sales and look-ups. The song also performed well in Twitter mentions (No. 2) and radio airplay (No. 3), but the two physical metrics of the chart’s methodology fueled the track to the top of the tally this week.
